THB Round Counterflow Cooling Tower
THB Series is a bottle type cooling tower which adopts an efficient self-rotating low-pressure sprinkler device to distribute water evenly within the tower. This is the most conventional and economical first generation cooling tower since the existence of cooling towers. The Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (F.R.P.) casing is circular shaped thus eliminating special positioning requirements and is not affected by prevailing wind directions. This model is suitable for small cooling needs, starting at 5 HRT (heat rejection ton). The model can be offered with high temperature fills as solutions to high temperature processes. THB series is suitable for general HVAC applications and various manufacturing process cooling.

The tower’s design includes a hot water entrance at the bottom of the collection sump that is routed vertically to the mechanical rotary sprinkler that is situated above the fill media.
The hot water is distributed throughout the entire filling area by an automatic rotary sprinkler system with a rotating head and sprinkler hose. Sprinkler pipes are non-clogging, work with little pressure, and ensure a consistent water flow with the smallest possible pumphead.
Casing and Water Basin:
Select quality materials of durable fiberglass reinforced polyester & resins are used to make cooling tower casing. For bigger cooling towers, further embossing is done for added strength. Total leak-proof, preventing water leakage and spills. It is constructed of FRP with additional stiffness to handle more water weight, and has a deep sump design to guarantee the highest water level at all times.
Drift Eliminators:
A multi-blade rotary drift eliminator composed of FRP sheets that has been specially engineered to lessen carry out losses by entraining moisture drops in the stream.
Frame Support Structure:
All components, such as the tower supports, motor supports, leg supports, etc., are either hot dip galvanized. Stainless steel or epoxy coating can be provided upon request.
Handrail and Caged Ladder
Provide fall protection for the climber in case slips while climbing or walking on cooling tower.
Premium Efficiency Motor
Other efficiency motors (IE2/ IE3 / IE4) are avaialble for energy saving and green building index.
Vibration Cut-Off Switch
Senses vibration and triggers alarm to shuts down the machine if vibration exceeds the threshold level.
Automatic Lubrication System
Lubricates the bearing continuously while the machine is working, which improves the distribution of lubricant.
Spring Isolators
Reduce the transmission of noise, shock, and vibration produced by mechanical equipment and cooling tower.
Gear Drive System
Gearboxes and drive shafts are available to ensure reliability and long life in the demanding environment of a cooling tower.
FRP Fan Blades
Provide the desired non-corrosive quality to the fan blades, resulting the operation of fans in the very aggressive environment.
