Cooling Tower Motor
The cooling tower duty motors in Threcell products are constructed in accordance with IEC specifications and are intended to survive exposure to the hot, humid conditions found in cooling towers. The TEFC (totally-enclosed, fan-cooled) motor is protected from water and debris, reducing maintenance requirements.
TEFC Motor:
Since it has an internal fan, the TEFC motor may be cooled without replying on the cooling tower airflow. The motor can continue to cool itself even at low fan speeds, which helps to increase its durability and service life. At all speeds, TEFC-type motors offer efficient ventilation.
Drain Plugs:
Drain plugs are provided on every of the motor and on the face of each end shield to accommodate any mounting option.
High Efficiency:
Motor are available in IE2 (High Efficiency), IE3 (Premium Efficiency), or Two Speed Motor rated to IEC and NEMA standards, custom vaoltage, frequency and ingress protection class.
VFD System:
When paired with a VFD in a single-solution package, customers can realize energy savings compared to a two-speed starter and single-speed starter.
